My son sings in his high school choir and sometimes I’m able to help out as a chaperone. Every year they go to a District Assessment where they sing and sightread for grades. The director likes to have videos of the performances so he can go back and review them and/or post them on the school social media accounts.
Often when I go to these events, I don’t take my big camera but then I wish I had a tripod for my phone camera… Enter the Vastar Universal Smartphone Tripod Adaptor! I mount this gem to my Tairoad Tripod and then I can mount my phone for a still video.
I like this adaptor because it is easy to use and very flexible. I can rotate the phone to any position and because of the way it wenches closed, I am not limited to any specific kind of phone. The inside of the pieces that are next to the phone are padded so there’s no need to worry about scratching my phone.
All in all this has been a wonderful investment and my choir videos have turned out much better!
